   Bus 2.jpg      Three bus routes service the school.

They are Ilbilbie/Mt Christian, West Koumala and Turnor's Paddock Road Services.  Children living specified distances from the school are eligible to travel on these services.  Prep students can use the service if there are empty seats available.  Each route has a bus committee which meets once per year or when required by official business.

A “Code of Conduct for School Children Travelling on Buses" administered by Queensland Transport outlines expected behaviours for students using the buses.  The Code of Conduct states:

            * Respect other people and property

            * Wait for the bus in an orderly manner

            * Whilst on the bus, conduct yourself in an orderly manner

            * Use designated stops

            * When alighting from the bus, do so in an orderly manner

            * In case of an emergency or a breakdown follow the driver's directions.

The bus drivers are responsible for the day to day management of the behaviour of students travelling to and from school.  Responses to breaches of the Code of Conduct may range from a caution to refusal of the student's future travel on the bus. If the school identifies that actions by students who travel on the bus bring the school into disrepute, action from the school may also take place.
