Koumala State School

Welcome to Koumala State School.

Koumala State School has much to offer its students. Koumala has an excellent primary program from prep to year six. Our dedicated staff ensures that children are given every opportunity to develop academic skills, enhance social skills, experience cultural performances and participate in activities that will improve physical development.

Koumala is an open friendly school where parents are actively encouraged to play a vital role in daily school life. By assisting with our reading and swimming programs, helping on tuckshop and joining with classes on excursions or by working through the Parents’ and Citizens’ association, vital links between home and school are established.

At our school we aim to create a safe, supportive and disciplined environment that develops responsible and respectful life long learners.  We encourage all students to strive for their best which is underpinned by our motto.

Our three basic rules of be responsible, be respectful and be safe underpin our school wide positive behaviour support program.
